The Ebay Inspiration Shop: Class Post

Ebay will be launching a new branch of their empire on November 10th called 'The Ebay Inspiration Shop". This is essentially a constantly updating physical storefront in NY, NY which you can shop from 24/7 via QR codes on your smart phone. Ebay has selected various 'Trendsetters' such as Charlotte Ronson, Scott Steinberg, Liz Lange, etc to personally curate the items, which range from fashion to electronics and everything in between.
I suppose you can call spending your money on things some other people designate to be cool as inspiring, i says it's the exact opposite. I think this is nothing more than a gimmick, and i don't think people are gonna venture out into the freezing New York winter nights to see some digital camera in a window that they could see on a website. The only reason shopping in person is beneficial is to try things on and see how things feel, both of which are lost in this cheese ball operation. I do, unfortunately, often underestimate the cornyness of the average American consumer though, so by me saying this is a gimmick, probably means this is the new hottest thing. Ebay Inspiration Shops, coming to a town near you in the very near future.
